zodlounge is an artist development, music services and production company dedicated to providing an inspiring musical environment and structure in which artists can imagine, explore, and create high-quality music relevant to today’s markets. Starting with artist development and songwriting, Zodlounge carries the project through to opportunities in publishing, T.V. and film placements, radio promotion and live performances. Zodlounge offers a wide range of services and experiences to maximize each project’s musical potential while maintaining the artist’s musical integrity.  This Nashville based team of producer-musicians has worked with artists, writers, publishers and industry leaders of many diverse backgrounds throughout their career.

Todd Shay, Tom Michael and Brett Vargason formed Zodlounge Music Studio and Production Company in 2004 as part of a natural progression of a longstanding musical relationship. Having bonded musically during previous national touring and production work, their passions for creating great music coupled with their desire to help artists achieve their own musical success and branding led them to a new career path. Thus, Zodlounge was launched and progressed, encompassing these passions along with talent developed by over 25 years of experience.

Since that time, artists, producers, songwriters, and industry leaders both in the national music scene as well as abroad, have taken notice, leading to many successful collaborations. Because of the increased awareness among these leaders, Zodlounge has also had the privilege of cultivating many close relationships with publishers, T.V./film, A&R, and other media contacts valuable to artists in their branding process.

By creating a professional custom experience for each client, Zodlounge is steadily becoming the hotspot for new talent, a consistent high-quality experience for seasoned artists, and a respected aggregate for film and T.V. licensing & music publishing.
